So, my mom came up today to visit. She got here in the late afternoon. We ate supper, then we went for a walk with the children. Then we were hanging up and organizing some of the children's clothes. Mark was going to be home soon from work. My mom was downstairs and I went up to give Christy a bath. Well, Mark came home, walked in the door and saw a bat hanging from above the door to the office. My mom screamed and took the children in the office with her and closed the door. I came down stairs and my husband was looking for the bat so he could kill it. I went into the office with my mom and I looked over at the window and saw the bat hanging from my curtain!! So we all ran out of the room and Mark went in the office and after several tries killed it!
I wonder how long the bat was there while my Mom and I were just going about our business! I don't want to think about it. My mom said she will not be sleeping tonight. I don't know that I will either. Please pray that there are no more in our house! I am terrified of them!
Well, my husband wants to get on the computer to watch some football with the chidlren before they go to bed. Good night!
very funny, um, I mean scary. Okay I admit I did laugh, but wow, it was very close to you. and that would have been a sight to see you all thinking you were safe in the office but then realize you locked yourself in with the culprit.
