We went camping last night. We didn't set the tent up in advance so we got to the campsite, took the tent out of the bag only to find the stakes and poles to hold the tent up were not in the bag! Thankfully my mother-in-law had a little pup tent and the three oldest children slept in their sleeping bags in the tent. My youngest daughter, Rebecca, ended up sleeping in the bakseat of the Suburban and my husband I blew up an air matress, squeezed it in between the front and first row seat!
There was a pretty heavy dew and Christy must have come out of her sleeping bag during the night because the poor girl was all wet when she woke up. That was our adventure of camping this year!
